Late last week we discovered a potential quality issue affecting the flavor of a batch of our canned Oktoberfest Märzen-Style Lager in the market.

After pulling samples and doing further quality testing, we made the decision to voluntarily recall everything from our distribution partners and begin the process of replacing the product that is in the market. While we are confident this is being carried out in a timely matter, we understand this cannot happen overnight and is likely some of this product reached consumers.

The potential issue only affects the flavor of the beer but is not considered a safety issue. Only cans of Oktoberfest Märzen-Style Lager with an August date code appear to be affected and not Oktoberfest bottles, kegs or cans with a September or later date code.

We feel this product does not represent our standards for quality in the market and ask that anyone who feels they have purchased any of these cans to contact us so we can work with you to make it right.
