Lone Piper The solemn presence of the Lone Piper can traditionally be found standing with reverence piping the day’s end. Similar to the sound of the bagpipes, our barrel aged Wee Heavy Ale warms the soul while paying tribute to tradition and heritage. This rosy brown ale is highlighted by a heavy and complex malt character with notes of brown sugar, dark fruit, and slight roast. Sweet oak, vanilla, and muted whisky tones arrive after spending more than a year aging and refining in old whisky barrels. The harmony of flavors coming together produces a finish as long as the drone of the pipes as they fade in the glow of the sunset. Best enjoyed as a night cap to celebrate accomplisment. Slainte!
